2) How We Use Information

3) Sharing & Disclosure
We share personal information with service providers/subprocessors (hosting, storage, payments, analytics, email delivery, community platforms) under contractual confidentiality and data-processing obligations; with advertising/analytics partners (Meta, TikTok, Hotjar) to measure performance and, where allowed, deliver relevant advertising; in business transfers (e.g., merger or acquisition); and for legal/safety reasons. We do not “sell” personal information for money. Some U.S. state laws may consider our use of advertising pixels a form of “sharing” for targeted advertising—see Your U.S. Privacy Rights.
4) International Data Transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than your own (including the United States and Canada). Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., contractual protections).

- Community/course content: retained until you delete it or close your account (subject to backups).
6) Your Rights & Choices
U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on your state (e.g., CA/CO/CT/VA/UT), you may request access, deletion, correction, or portability, and opt out of targeted advertising “sharing.” To exercise rights or opt out, email support@themethodai.com with the subject “Privacy Request” or “Do Not Share,” and adjust your cookie preferences (see Cookies). We will verify requests as required by law.
Canada (if/when applicable)
You may request access and corrections under PIPEDA by contacting support@themethodai.com.
Email marketing
You can unsubscribe via any email footer or by emailing us.
7) Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, secure logins, analyze traffic (Hotjar), and measure/attribute ads (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel). Manage cookies via your browser settings and any cookie controls provided on our sites. “Do Not Track” is not standardized, so we do not respond to DNT signals.
8) Children’s Privacy
The Services are intended for individuals 13+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us to delete it.
9) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10) Third-Party Services & AI Tools
Our Services reference or integrate third-party platforms (Shopify, Gumroad, Discord; third-party AI tools used by you). Your use of those services is governed by their own policies/terms, which we do not control.
11) Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy periodically. The “Effective date” reflects the latest version. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (e.g., banner or email).

8) Third-Party Platforms & Tools
We integrate or reference platforms including Shopify, Discord, Gumroad, Meta/Instagram, TikTok and payment providers Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay. Your use of those services is governed by their terms; we are not responsible for them.

Our materials are educational. We do not provide legal, financial, or medical advice. Results vary.
12) Disclaimers
THE SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation or compatibility with any device or tool.
13) Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, METHOD.AI AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO METHOD.AI IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. (Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; these apply to the maximum extent permitted.)
